I don’t know about you but I have thick, straight hair. Everyone thinks I have nice thick and wavy hair but truth be told it is thick but if I let it air dry and do not put it in a bun it goes stick straight throughout the day

This is me with my normal air dry hair and yes it is wavy at first but again as the day progresses it gets straighter and straighter.

Needless to say me and my curling iron are best friends for life. I love big, curly, poufy hair. It is my favorite look ❤

I am always super happy when I get volumizing products in my subscription boxes and was eager to try this John Frieda 7 Day Volume (1 oz) I received in my Allure Sample Society.

How you use it

After shampoo and conditioner you apply this while you are still in the shower, quarter size is the recommended amount, but I had to use a little bit more since I have a lot of hair.

The first time I used this was during a night shower and left it on for about 3 minutes or really however long it took to shave my legs. I let my hair air dry and put it in a bun for a very short period of time while I folded laundry. Then took out the bun and went to bed.

I literally woke up with this fun wavy hair, OMGGG I absolutely loved it! I mean I didn’t use any product and got this look, so I just put on hair spray and started my day.

The bottle states that it last 7 days or up to 3 washes.

Side Note-I like washing my hair everyday, eek I know I shouldn’t, but I love having clean hair so I shampoo and condition every day.

Now let’s look at Day 2

This was after I showered and blow dried my hair, on a normal day my hair blow dries to straight and that is fine since I will just use a curling iron but wow I love the waves that came just from drying and using a brush. Afterwards I put my hair in a bun for a little bit and sprayed hairspray and let the waves stay on all day.

Day 3, I took this picture right before I ate breakfast and showered afterward. I had my hair from the night before and again I woke up with I must say pretty decent hair. I mean I wish I could have kept it like this all day because it was super volumizing and wavy. LOVED IT!!!!!

I have used this for two weeks and still have tons of uses left 🙂 I fully intend to buy this product this weekend, it costs $9.99 for 4 fl oz and Ulta is having a sale for buy 2 get 1 free so I am definitely getting 3 of these lololol

Another favorite product of mine is from my Birchbox, Harvey Prince Organics Sea/Salt  Hair (0.27 oz)

I love the way this smells like clean and sweet rolled into one. Even more I love that this isn’t sticky and doesn’t weigh down my hair.

Here I am with my hair just using the texturing spray (and the John Freida 7 Day Volume). I used it like I would my hairspray and sprayed it after I blow dried my hair and put it in a bun for a little bit. The rest of the day my hair stayed wavy and with lots of volume.

This is another product I will definitely be buying once I run out, I see it on the Birchbox site for $20 for 6 fl oz

I have to say I am so happy I got these in my subscription boxes because I never would have known about them otherwise and absolutely love them.

Now this is just to let you know if you want the Too Faced Soul Mates Bronzers Nordstrom Rack has them $11.97. They have gotten some eh reviews but for $12 I am more than happy to buy them and test them out. I got Carrie & Big for myself and the other two for my friend Boobs and Blonde ❤
