I recently tried out these two lipsticks and I have to say I am really enjoying them 🙂

First off is the YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis À Lèvres Glossy Stain #13 Rose Tempura

I bought this one during the Nordstrom Trend Show, it retails for $36. This is a hybrid between a stain and a gloss, which is why I bought it because the curiosity got the better of me lololol. I don’t own anything like this and I am happy I took the jump and got it.

The color is a rose pink and not really magenta or hot pink. I love how with 2 applications it is so bright and super pigmented. Its applicator is a slanted tip, had me annoyed at first but with some practice I noticed it covered my lips better than a brush would because it got into every corner. I didn’t use a lip liner because I wanted to see how this would hold up without one.

When I first put it on it went on like a dream so smooth but after a while it definitely got a little sticky 😦 I kept pressing my lips together just to feel it again and again (I know I am weird) It wasn’t too annoying just different.

The sun took away the true glory of the color and I sadly did not take more pictures, but I do have to say this wore on for a good amount of time at least 5 hours.

I ate a gyro that night for dinner and while the glossy look went away there was a clear stain left behind which I really liked.

Overall, I really liked this YSL Glossy Stain, from the slick packaging to the delicious sweet perfume smell, down to its vibrant color that I ended up buying 2 more of these Glossy Stains during the Sephora Sale which I hope to review soon too ❤

Next up, Nars Greta (retails $32)

Nars Greta, Charlotte Tilbury Lip Liner Pillow Talk, and Charlotte Tilbury Lipgloss in Candy Darling (the stain all the way on the right is the YSL which really shows you even with a makeup wipe it doesn’t come off lol)

I love my Nars Audacious and Greta is clearly up there ❤ She is described on the Nars website as a “wild azalea” aka a beautiful shade of coral, red, and pink all rolled into one. Loves it!!!

Then bam, Greta is on and in your face! I love bright colors and how my simple look can easily change.

I honestly love my Nars Audacious, they go on so smooth, so creamy, and last for hours.

I love the magnetic cap even more on them so much that I wish all lipsticks had it. I catch myself sometimes with my other lipsticks waiting for the cap to close on its own when I realize wait, this isn’t a Nars and won’t do it 😦

I am so happy today is Thursday, I feel like this week has been one of the longest. It could be because we have a lot to do this weekend and I am super excited for it to come hahaha.
