So sorry for the delay in posting today 😦 but I had a good reason!
I went to the Nordstrom Trend Show today and OMG it was so much fun!! Look at all the loot I came out with 🙂
I had booked my appointment at the Chanel counter at 10am this morning to have a makeover and see their new summer collection, but sadly they still haven’t received their summer line so I did get a makeover with some of their Spring line stuff

I have to say my favorite counter was the YSL because of the lady named Kim. I mean she is the one that gave me all the samples shown in the first picture. She kept giving them to me and while I did buy some lip products from Chanel, they were rather cheap on their samples. It had to take me noticing they messed up both my lip purchases up for them to feel bad and give me samples.
I am a sucker for samples, I absolutely love them!!! Gift with Purchase, hello I am sold! So when they advertise “Trend Show” receive a bag with samples and makeover and get no samples I get slightly sad. Whomp Whomp Nordstrom you failed me. I mean Josie got an awesome bag in the Chicago one why not for the Mall of America in MN. Oh well, hopefully Sunday at Sephora will be better 🙂
Thank goodness for good ole Kim at YSL. I bought 2 lipsticks from her, but since one was sold out she is shipping that one to me.
Overall I had a great time walking from counter to counter and trying on way too many lipsticks and loving them all! The ladies at every counter were so sweet and I even got a sample of the Dior Nude Air foundation I hope to buy this Sunday at the Sephora sale ❤
If you haven’t already, call your Nordstrom’s and book an appointment for your favorite counter for your local “Trend Show.” I believe cost varies for every Nordstrom since I know Josie paid $20 but got it back in a coupon she could buy whatever she wanted that day and mine was free.

How fun!! I’m going to the Sephora event on Sunday too, I’ve never been to one before so I’m excited 🙂 I’m hoping it won’t be super crowded though!

Ah, makeup heaven! Love YSL! How do you like the Chanel? I love their foundation but haven’t tried the lipsticks.

I felt the Chanel was very moisturizing when I initially put it on but then my lips decide to pimp themselves out to other brands’ lipsticks so I can’t really say at the moment. Tomorrow I will be wearing the Chanel only all day to really test it out and if I like it I might another one at the Sephora sale 😃

Yes it was a blast Annie!!! You have great eyes too lol yes it is Coco 🙂 I also bought the lip liner Orange Intense because I have been searching forever for a pretty orange lip liner and finally found one and couldn’t pass it up! Honestly I tried the YSL on and they were a bit hard for me to control how to apply but I was not able to use the brush it came with, they gave me a clean little brush to apply since it was a sample. I hope to wear Coco today and YSL 13 Rose Tempera tomorrow to get a better idea of both. I will post this coming week my initial thoughts on both ❤ Have a great weekend xoxo

Well I went to check anyway lol and they sold out on Friday 😩 They still haven’t received the Chanel illuminating powder I want so they said they hope to get more orange intense with that shipment. I had no idea it was a popular lip liner color and I lucked out on it. Hopefully they have it when I go again or hopefully they restock by you. I wore it yesterday and it really is a perfect orange to all my orange lipsticks

I looove when brands have that “gift with purchase”–I always feel like I bought much more than I did when I open a bag of goodies lol! This looks like so much fun!!! Can you believe we JUST got a Nordstrom in Canada? I haven’t gone in yet, for fear of coming out with too many products lol

OMG you must go in Romy!!! It is amazing! Yes sign up for the card you get great points, I signed up for the debit card so it is only my direct money I am using and I won’t owe anything. I love triple points week and when you sign up during one of these events they go really crazy and give you lots of samples. Omg I sound like a sales person for Nordies but I swear I am not hahahah. I just love the early access of sales you can get. Surprisingly I have yet to really spend too much there but I do enjoy going in. I love the Nordstrom experience and I bet since yours is new they will hopefully be amazing!

Omg it was too much fun Jen wish you could have been there 🙂 Lololol I love lipsticks way too much! I am too excited tomorrow I am supposed to get one in the mail and then Wednesday another ahhhh. Come to mama! I saw what I am getting in my Ipsy bag this month and sadly no lipstick but a lipgloss I think 😦 Maybe they are trying to ween me off of my lipstick obsession but how do they know hahahahahah

Yay!!! I think red would look amazing on you ❤️ but I think red looks great on everyone 😃 I feel it’s a universal color 💋 Yes I am getting the Starlooks lipgloss! The description says it is not sticky and Ipsters are getting the shade Cuddle. I think this month’s contents for me were a bust but that might change when I actually see everything and try it on. I’m getting dry shampoo (I never use but my hubby will love it,) nail polish which I have lots of but it is described as chip proof so we shall see, concealer (I hope it’s the right shade) and the Balm in Flirty

I feel I’m proof that red isn’t a universal color. lol I don’t know why but red just doesn’t like me. I’m good mauve, some other pinks, but more of a natural lipstick shade. I like the brand starlooks though it’s hit or miss with them. I’m curious if you’ll like it. I don’t use dry shampoo either. I have so many bottles of it too sitting in my bathroom vanity. I’m getting theBalm fit, either shade looks pretty good in my opinion.

🙀🙀🙀🙀 there is a red out there that is perfect for you we just have to find it. I wish we lived closer and I would have you try on all my reds because I have way too many but they are all slightly different. Yes I agree either Balm shadow looks so pretty!! Yeah I am very lucky when it comes to getting dry shampoo in my sub boxes I just give it to Dan and he gives me a full review even though I don’t care since I don’t use it lololo but it’s nice he gets something out of them too

lol Aw, I alway shy away from red because I’ve had so many fails with it. Though some red lip tints like Static or Tint & Sassy kind of look good on me. 🙂 I think that’s so funny you’re husband love dry shampoo. Maybe I should make mine use it. lol Someone should use it since it’s just sitting here. I want to get rid of it but the stuff I have ain’t cheap so I keep it. lol Most people I know don’t use dry shampoo or I would of just given it to someone by now.

Yeah I was like who is going to use this since I don’t know anyone who does but then Dan started to use it and it was jackpot! They always send Dry Shampoo which can be annoying if you don’t know anyone who uses it.

Yes it’s only $5 and it isn’t monthly only 1 every season and sadly not renewal so you have to sign up every time it comes out

I did the walmart beauty box and I never got a spring box. lol I’ll have to see what happen. It’s the same price. I received their winter box though.
