OMGGGGGG is all I can say about my swap with Reify! It exceeded any expectation I had and I absolutely love everything she sent me!!! Literally everything she sent me was SOOO me and I am so happy my swap was with her.

It is funny how our friendship started, she commented on my post about something in December then I went to check out her blog, immediately fell in love with her pictures and her (lolol.) Entered her giveaway (I lost 😥 lololol jk yay to the winner!)

But part of the giveaway was to follow her on Instagram and Twitter, I did, and I was checking out her Instagram and she was doing the same with mine and we just started to comment back and forth that led to DM’s on Instagram and an invite from Reify to Skype.

In retrospect I guess it was weird but I didn’t miss in a beat and right away said yes hahah. I mean, like I have mentioned anything normal is weird and weird is normal to me so if I had met her in person, I might have hesitated a little on saying yes and immediately think why does she want to talk to me? But since it happened in an odd way it seemed perfectly normal 🙂

Dylan was already asleep and Dan was out of town so it seemed like a perfect time to skype. I logged on, called Reify, and went right into conversation. You know when you just click with someone and it seems like you have known them for ages? That’s how it was with Reify. I could tell she was a little nervous so I did most of the talking but again that is no surprise since I can talk about anything hahaha.

We spoke for hours and continued to the next day and the next day. I suggested we do a swap and Reify agreed and we would always Skype and Instagram each other, it was so much fun to say the least!

I mean if all I got from this swap was just Reify’s friendship I would have been more than happy 🙂 She is the best and I love that we still Skype and DM each other about everything! From mundane daily things, to our obsessions with makeup, and to family and loved ones. I am happy to call Reify one of my closest friends and hopefully one day I get to meet her in person 🙂

Anyways back to the swap, I didn’t take pictures of how everything was packaged because we Skyped each other so we could see each other’s reaction to things and explain everything. I LOVE that we did it this way because it was so exciting to see her face light up when she opened something and I loved explaining my reasoning as to why I got her something. When it came to my turn to open her package I loved having her there explaining everything to me and it was just so personal almost like having her right next to me.

Her package came beautifully wrapped with Hello Kitty wrapping paper and lots of bubble wrap so cute!!! I wish I had taken a picture but I was just too excited! No one can blame me and Reify was right next to me so it was perfect.

The first thing in my package I saw was CANDY, AHHHHHHHHH. If you know me, you know I love candy so much!! It will forever be my first true love (sorry Dan and Hello Kitty hehe!)

I mean I saw so much candy I would have screamed and shown the real crazy if Reify wasn’t on Skype. I loved pulling out bag after bag and bar after bar AHHHHHHH!!!!!

I already ate some of the candy and it was sooo delicious! I need more in my life! I might have gotten sentimental when I ate the last bite of my Aldi chocolate bar Nussbeisser (which Reify told me means Nut Biter hahahahahahah) because I love candy and immediately become attached 😥

I also love how one of the chocolate bars is named the Reifylove Special! I am saving that one for last 🙂

I can’t wait to eat the rest and be sad but happy since I love trying new things from different parts of the world.

I picked at random so after I opened up the candy everything was mixed which I love but I categorized everything in groups.

First up mascaras! Reify had mentioned she had extras of the Josie Maran mascara and Urban Decay Perversion and I cannot wait to try these! I am almost out of my daily mascaras so this is perfect to be able to try one in a week or two.

The other two I have also never tried, Revlon and Max Factor ahhh I have been dying to try both of these so another yay for me and my eyelashes are eagerly awaiting for them to put on them 🙂

Blushes are next and some amazing eye products.

Lets start with blushes

-the big one that is opened is from Sleek Makeup in Rose Gold, man this packaging really is sleek, it’s sturdy and all black, love it. The color reminds me a little of Nars Orgasm. I haven’t had a chance to wear it but I love seeing the gold shimmers in it

-Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in Soft Cardinal is the little pot next to the Sleek. Omg I love this one! I wore it the other day and absolutely love it! It goes on nicely and lasts a long time! I love little things so this being so small is an instant favorite.

-Manhatten Powder Rouge Tender Touch in Hot in Here is already instant love since I am humming the tune of that Nelly song lolol. I love this one because it comes with a cute little brush for instant touch ups on the go

-Catrice Defining Blush in Sunrose Avenue, another love for the packaging so simple but so nice! It is clear and I don’t know just so nice. The color looks very pretty and maybe even a little shimmer, I hope to use this one soon

Now eye products

-I have been dying to try the L’Oreal Color Riche eyeshadows since we don’t have them here and love that Reify included one. Not just anyone but one I will use almost all the time. The color is Lumiere and it is just so beautiful!!! AHHH, I love it ❤

-Reify also included some of her favorite eyeshadow creams from Manhattan in Chocolate Kiss and Naughty Nude. I have worn both and omg!!! Drooling over how much I love these. So pigmented, so nice, so perfect! I wish they sold these here

-last is the little bottle from Revlon Agonise, pigment powder which funny enough I included pigments in Reify’s package too. We both don’t know how to use pigments LOLOLOLOLOL but I love how we both sent the other person some, I did watch some You Tube videos how to use pigments and got a good idea and can’t wait to test it out 🙂

-AHHHHH Reify sent me some Zoeva brushes!!!!! I have been dying to try these and I am so happy she sent me some. They are so soft and so nice 🙂 I have used both and really love them a lot, I am not sure if I love them more than my Sigma yet but definitely equal to them ❤ One is a flat kabuki brush and the other is a dupe for the Mac 217 which I love dearly, perfect pair to introduce me to Zoeva. I want more already!

-I am so excited to try Bioderma and love Reify even more for sending me a bottle. I have used it as a makeup remover and it is AMAZING!!!! I hope to get my hands on more of their line soon

-I have never tried Caudalie and was only too excited to get this hand cream. I wash my hands a billion times a day so I go through hand lotions quickly. This lotion will be used up in no time 🙂

-Getting this Body Shop shower gel came at a perfect time since I am going to San Diego this week I don’t have to buy one.

-The little maroon aerosol can is really a hair mask! How neat is that?! I already used it the past couple of nights and love it! It smells soooo good and leaves my hair so soft after I shower. I want and need another one of these 🙂

-Reify sent me this cute Chocolate Bar which is really for a bath bar and the scent is Strawberry. Omg I cannot wait to take a bubble bath and add this in, I don’t always have time to take a bath since both boys always seem to need me when I am trying to relax but once a month I get my “alone time” aka a bath to relax and read and just be at peace for an hour at night. My day is coming up next week so I am eagerly awaiting to use this lolol

-last in the picture is the green bottle which is also a body wash, love this smell, so fresh and so clean! Another thing that came in perfect timing because I am on my last pump of my current shower gel so by next week this will be used and loved ❤

Let’s get real, a swap with me has to include lip products and Reify did not disappoint!!!!

I am using these daily so I will post a picture with the lip product for every day that I use it.  I have already used one Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet the beautiful fuchsia color in Ole Flamingo

I love my pink lipsticks and this is another that matches my favorite coat. It goes on so velvety (like the name) and dries so nicely. It lasted all day and loved the stain it left behind even after various meals.

I will do another post on this lipstick because this needs to be loved way more than a simple shout out 🙂

The one I wore in the picture is the one all the way to the right in a lipgloss like bottle. I want more of these for sure and have already asked Reify for another LOLOLOLOLOL. This formula is amazing and again another post another day.

Let’s just stare at this beautiful palette, another squeal moment 🙂

I have always wanted to try Revolution makeup and Reify kindly sent me this Girls On Film palette a mixture of mattes and shimmers. Such a gorgeous palette I have used it a couple of times and love it a lot!

Reify was so nice and even sent miscellaneous things for me and the boys!

-I love how while I was skyping with Reify and saw the notebook I explained how much I needed one and was too lazy to go out into the garage to look for one since it would be freezing out. I have already written lots in it 🙂 I swear it’s like she read my mind when she sent this stuff!

-Another thing about me is that I love Hello Kitty and love how Reify sent me hand cream and a lip balm which are sooooo cute! I don’t want to use them and want to keep them perfect but I will for sure use them 🙂

-I love learning about other countries and getting maps and touristy things and Reify kindly sent me this Wuppertal Suspension Monorail map and information about the history of the monorail. I have already read this and am very fascinated that I need to visit there and ride this monorail!

-some samples I will post about when I use them individually to highlight them 🙂

Now gifts for the boys

-Dan is obsessed with Kiehls! If you go into his bathroom all his skin care stuff is Kiehls so I loved that Reify included this sample for him. It is an Oil Eliminator and Dan has already used it and loving it! He says thank you Reify hahaha

-For Dylan a great story time book called Tuffi and the Suspension Railway! Dylan hasn’t been on his best behavior so he has lost story time these past couple of days but if all goes well today hopefully we get to read this tonight 🙂

Last but certainly not least my special gift from Reify, a DIOR Fluid Stick. My first of its kind! And OMGGG love this so much! I wore it the other day and it is BEAUTIFUL. I love it even more because Reify picked it out just for me ❤

It was really sunny on Sunday so I look extra pale and weird but OMGGG the Dior Fluid Stick is AMAZZIIINNGGGG.

Love the formula and color and I cannot wait to order some more of these 🙂

I never thought I would do a swap with anyone because I thought it would be so impersonal but these past months have been great getting to know Reify and picking out stuff for her. I wish I could have sent her more but my laziness got in the way 😥

Honestly I have to say Reify is one the best, sweetest, and kindest person I have ever met!!  I am so happy we did this swap and will continue to be great friends!

I have already started a package for her just for fun because I just get so happy when I think of her and when I go shopping, if I see something that reminds me of Reify I will get it for her. She doesn’t have access to as many things like we do here and she is the perfect person to give all my samples I love to hoard. I love getting samples for free so much but rarely use them and now they have a happy home with her lolololol
