Before we made our trip to Chicago we exchanged one gift each, I happened to be over the moon of my early gifts ❤
I guess Dan got the hint I really wanted the MAC Pro Conceal and Correct palette because he got it for me!!! It’s perfect! The boys also surprised with the M.A.C NastyGal lipsticks in Stunner-Clean Red (matte) and Runner-Burgundy (Matte) love them both!
The Pro Conceal and Correct is beautiful! I haven’t had a chance to play with my new babies yet but I know I will love them very much!
My only dog that would pose for me- Sophia Loren. Reify mentioned she has my eyes and I take that as a great compliment 🙂 Sophie is so proper, shy, and regal, love her! Out of my three dogs she is the quietest and most scared of everything, so I tend to protect her the most and carry her like a baby. She is just so little and cute!
Since we are back in Chicago, I had to of course eat at my favorite place Portillos lol. We have plenty of dinner reservations planned at our favorite restaurants here, but Dunkin Donuts and Portillos I always crave and want the most 🙂
Jo and I are going to the Chicago Art Institute today with our friend Elaine and we will be shopping down Michigan Ave for last minute gifts! We will be posting our adventures on Instagram so follow us and see what we are up to ❤

Ah nooo! It’s alright, I’ll send occasional reminders that don’t border on creepy. 😉 I tend to hoard concealer products because I have the worst dark under eyes so I love to hear about new concealers.

Lol not creepy at all because I know I forget a lot. Omg! Preaching to the choir about dark circles I hate them. I really like my NARS so I hope this is equally as good or better

The creamy concealer? Do you find it’s actually good on its own, or do you use it as a brightener on top of a concealer?

So far I have been using it as just a concealer and love it! I like the option of four concealers since I am in between colors at the moment. I didn’t realize how handy the yellow was to get rid of my redness and the light pink is a great base corrector for the dark circles. It definitely has added time in my typical less then 10 min makeup routine but it has helped immensely!! It’s really neat because I feel like my face is an actual canvas when I apply this on. It may sound weird since technically your face is a canvas for makeup but since I don’t really put too much time applying stuff I love using a brush to just apply and blend. Sorry may sound weird lol but it feels like when I actually paint on real canvas so I really like because I love painting 😃 So another long winded story to just say no to brightner but yes to concealer 😂

Haha! This was great! I like to know the details so I can make an informed decision. Thank you so much! I think I understand the canvas part. I know they say your face is a canvas for makeup, but I don’t consider it one until I’ve applied my base (whether that’s foundation or concealer) and created an even 2D surface for the make-up (i.e. paint). It might not be what you mean, but that’s how i see it haha!

Yes it is similar to what I mean lol! It is all about that base 😃 I have noticed if you have a sponge like the Beauty Blender or any beauty sponge to blend out the color collectors it works even better! I have before and after pictures I might post on Monday but the before is scary 😁 but you can tell a big difference how a little more time using the MAC compact goes a long way. $40 is pricey so I completely understand wanting to know every detail about the product.
