My sister Susie loves to barbecue and she makes these super easy short ribs that are always a hit. I decided to make some for our friend’s Labor Day BBQ.
-6-7lbs of short ribs 1/4″ thick cut
-1 1/2 cup of Mamacita’s barbecue marinade
-1 squeeze lime
-1/2 can of 7-up
-2 cloves of garlic, minced
-1/4 tbsp of garlic powder
I like to soak my short ribs in cold water for 3 hours. Changing the water every hour to get rid of any residue. This will also tenderize the meat, I️ think lol. But this is optional.
Mamacita’s barbecue marinade can be found in most Asian stores.
Combine Mamacita’s barbecue marinade, 7-up, minced garlic, powder garlic and lime juice in a large container.
Add the short ribs and mix well. Making sure the short ribs are submerged<
n this wonderful marinade. Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 hours or overnight.
Grill and enjoy!
